Considerable savings and radically improved response time

HTTP accelerator Varnish is making an impression in a number of web-related, international conferences, presenting impressive statistics and user praise.

The two main developers behind Varnish, Danish independent developer Poul-Henning Kamp and Dag-Erling Smørgrav from Linpro, have impressed audiences on both sides of the Atlantic.

In May, at the Technical BSD conference in Ottawa, Canada, Kamp presented The Varnish Roadshow (PDF file - 464.0 KB). Kamp wrote most of the Varnish version 1.0 code.

In June, senior developer Dag-Erling Smørgrav from Linpro has presented Varnish to the 7th Escenic Customer & Partner Event in Oslo, Norway ( presentation), and the eZ Conference 2007 in Skien, Norway ( presentation).

Both developers also contributed to Linpro's own Linux Day seminar in May.
