As a result of this merger Redpill-Linpro will be able to provide a complete selection of services pertaining to all established Open Source products.

According to the two companies, clear business logic underlies the merger. The companies can directly combine and expand their consulting organization, educational activities and product development. Redpill has a strong support operation, while Linpro is on the cutting edge with respect to advanced operating services.

The companies also complement each other well with respect to products. Redpill's strength lies primarily in middleware, SOA, databases and procedure systems, while Linpro traditionally focuses on infrastructure products and solutions.

The new Group also expects to continue to pursue its expansion strategy in the rest of the Nordic market. Both Redpill and Linpro currently have a growing number of customers in the Danish market and plans are underway to establish a presence in Finland.

Redpill is acquiring all shares in Linpro. The newly formed Group will have a total of 170 employees.
